What to do, when ...
Try to rectify minor faults on the dishwasher with the aid of the
instructions given here. If you call in customer service to resolve one of
the malfunctions listed here, or rectify an error made in the operation
of the appliance, the customer service engineers visit is not free of
charge, even during the period of guarantee.
...Warning Tones Indicate a Fault in the Dishwasher.
If one or two repetitive warning tones can be heard after the start of
a programme, they are indicative of a fault in the dishwasher that
you can probably rectify yourself.
After rectification of the fault, press the button for the wash pro-
gramme that has been started and close the door of the dishwasher.
The wash programme continues.
If the same warning tone is heard again, please contact customer
service.
If more than two repetitive warning tones can be heard after pro-
gramme start, please contact customer service. Customer service will
need to know the number of tones and whether indicators on the
control and display field are flashing.
Malfunction Possible Cause Remedy
1 warning tone that is con-
tinuously repeated can be
heard and the
L indicator
and the programme indica-
tor on the display and con-
trol panel are flashing.
Tap is closed. Open tap.
The filter (where
present) in the threaded
hose fitting at the water
inlet valve is blocked.
Clean the filter in the
threaded hose fitting.
The water inlet hose is
not correctly laid.
Check hose installation.
2 warning tones that are
continuously repeated can
be heard.
The siphon is blocked. Clean siphon.
The water drain hose is
not correctly laid.
Check hose installation.
3 warning tones that are
continuously repeated can
be heard.
The leak prevention sys-
tem has been triggered.
Close the tap and contact
customer service.
